San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

My Review: AWESOME,AWESOME,AWESOME! This was the highlight of our trip:) We were picked up at the Hilton in Union Square at 10:00 am. Arrived at the airport approximately 1/2 hour later. We were brought right to the helicopter and the pilot was waiting for us. The helicopter itself was amazing:))) Leather bucket seats, cup holders,head phones with a microphone....totally cool....I felt like I was a movie star:) The flight itself was beautiful....we saw ALL of San Francisco, Alcatraz and most importantly flew UNDER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!! Yes, under the bridge....scary but, exciting at the same time. Loved the pilot....we wanted to do something later in the day and he told us about Coppola winery....OH MY GOSH!! This too is a must!!! Beautiful winery, terrific wine, fabulous food.....Would highly recommend taking the helicopter tour....It was worth every penny we spent!!! KUDOS !!!!!!

My Review: Highly recommend this!!! Take the bus around one loop to see all the stops then pick where you want to visit. Loved all the sights and information that was given....only thing I didn't like was the lack of "blue" buses....There were ALWAYS a million "red' buses everywhere but, usually we had to wait 1/2 hr or so for one of the "blue" buses to show up....Willie was great!!!

My Review: I would recommend this only because of fare. Other than that it was terrible....we had to walk quite a distance to get shuttle. Then the driver took over 1/2 hr after all of us had boarded to figure out his walkie talkie....he then proceeded thru I believe the WORST section of San Francisco....there were alternate routes as we rented a car and never went in that area again....we saw hookers and a needle exchange place on our way into the city...Not, something you want to see at the beginning of your trip....Hubby and I looked at each other like....what are we doing here????
