SKIP THE LINE FOR 2 OF THE 3 ATTRACTIONS LISTED ON THE TOUR TITLE

Our guide Sabrina was knowledgeable and overall great guide. Our disappointment was that we did not get to skip the line into St. Peter's Cathedral. We took the tour on a Wed morning which is a day the Pope says mass in the square. While the itinerary indicates that certain exhibits may have no access (ie, exhibits are being refurbished) but no where did it indicate specifically that on days the Pope gives mass will the entry to the cathedral be closed until well after the tour is over. Fortunately, we decided to have lunch to break up the wait and hopefully beat the line. We did not beat the line but the masses of people do move relatively quickly. But still, we paid to skip the line to st peter's, raphael's room and the sistine chapel and we did not skip the line to st. peter's. My advice: skip the Wed and Sat tours when the Pope is there to avoid any conflicts.
