Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence

My Review: The only downside was that although it was advertised as an English speaking tour, they took on some number of Spanish speaking only guests which meant we got only about half of the guide's time as she had to repeat everything in Spanish. That felt like we got a little less than we probably should have. The castle was great and that part of the tour was only in English which made it much more fluid in the presentation. This is a must do tour!

My Review: Our guide did not show up due to some sort of train delay. So we were late in getting started and as far as skipping the line, that didn't happen by the time our next guide showed. However, that guide was great and the tour was worth doing.

Tuscan Cooking Class and Dinner in Florence

My Review: Between our chef instructor and the group of folks we were paired with, this was a great event. It was little overbooked however and well above the normal amount but somehow the chef still managed to give adequate time. I would be careful on the booking numbers as the other 'half' of the group, did not have the same good fortune with their chef. The group was too large for him. Our's managed it but it was a challenge getting time to ask questions. This sounds like I am complaining but the description of the course said it included wine pairings with the meal. We did get a bottle of wine to share among 5 people but there was no pairing.
