We were fortunate to be in Rome in the 'off' season. There were six in thetour and Ettore was a fabulous guide. The crypts have to be seen to be truly appreciated. After eight tours I cannot say enough good about Dark Rome tours - the best experience I have had in 20 years of traveling.

The HOHO is the best way to see all the sites in Athens when time is at a premium. All the major sites are visited with buses leaving about every fifteen minutes. We use it as a taxi as well to get to and from other areas as well as the major sites.

This tour was by Dark Rome - by far the best tour company I have used. The guide was interesting, informative and excited about Rome and simply loved her job. Even though I have been to Rome before, I leaned a lot about Rome and the Colosseum. A great experience.

We went in the winter so there were a lot less people - which was excellent. The guide was amazing - fun, informed and an absolute pleasure. The tour does require quite a bit of walking.

Our driver picked us up on time and we enjoyed the day. The guide was excellent and did not hurray us at all. A very professional experience overall with lots of stories and facts interwoven with just the right amount of free time. I can highly recommend this tour.

The HOHO buses are the best way to navigate a city that has as ,any historical sites as Rome does. The stops are well positioned and easily identified. Use the HOHO as a taxi - it is much cheaper.

The driver was rude and did not speak. He parked rge van with six of us on board for over thirty minutes while he got breakfast and waited for a train to come in.every one of us was late for our plane as it took THREE hours to get fro the hotel to the airport. He went the wrong way and constantly talked to himself. Will never do it again

This trip was very disappointing. It was disorganised on the Paris end and we waited for ages at the bust stop in the cold only to be told we were being taken in a shuttle and not a bus. There two couples and none of them were seated together. In England the man did not meet us as pre-arranged. We were left to try and find out where to go and what to do. Thank goodness there were others so we had support. About 20 minutes later the man appeared and told us to hurry as the bus was going to leave. He was very rude and blunt. One of the couples told him the problem was that he was late and that made him even more rude. All over - nver again.
