Was excellent tour as you got to go back into the secret rooms that are not part of the standard tours of the palace. You went into rooms where prisoner trials took place, and the cells. Also got to hear the entire story of the famous character Casanova.

Tour guide was good, and she spoke multiple languages. Problem was that we were on a big boat and it was difficult to understand her on the speakers as she jumped back and forth between three different languages. On the other hand just the transportation between the three islands was worth the cost of this tour.

Tour was first class, guide very knowledgable and the Vatican is one thing that everyone should do in their lifetime. As advertised you do skip the lines and go right in, lines were less than 45 minutes during our visit, can be 3 hrs plus in the summer. Sistine chapel is breathtaking.  Not related to the tour, I am surprised that in my research I never saw any mention the inconvenience caused by taking a backpack. Upon entry they require you to store it, and thus a 2 mile walk at completion of tour to retrieve your pack. Best advice is DO NOT take a backpack and avoid  this inconvenience.
