Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima and Batalha Day Trip

My Rating

Obidos is definitively one of the most appealing pictouresque Portuguese towns and the Nazare beach and lunch in the coast restaurant make it very interesting. I appreciated the good choice of Portuguese wine in the lunch made by the restaurant .
Regarding Fatima, what I do not like is the very commercial side of what is a religious fact although this has nothing to do with the tour.

Lisbon City by Night and Fado Restaurant Dinner
Lisbon, Portugal
My Rating

Very tasty food served in the Fado restaurant and -above all- excellent the Fado music and dancers. Fado music is so nice and charming as the Tango for Argentina (I love BOTH).
What was not so brillant was the your guide speaking about Lisbon at night, it was a little boring and almost he did not allow any question

Sintra Day Trip from Lisbon
Lisbon, Portugal
My Rating

The rainy and foggy day made this tour not so enjoyable but anyway it was possible to observe the beauties of Sintra pictouresque downtown including the 1 Euro tasting of gingihas, for which some shops while provide a detailed explanation of the wide variety of port wines and jinjihas.

Something I liked very much was the walking visit to ALFAMA suburb, the most pictouresque in Lisbon. I am convinced it should longer as ALFAMA suburb has been covered by Literature Nobel prize winner Jose Saramago and is something very typical of Lisbon. The wine tasting should be longer as well.

Who was outstanding in this tour was the tour guide (the Swiss man whose English is very British as his parents are from the UK, believe his name is Neil, am I right?), the type of tour guide I always like to have! He was not only kind and detailed in his explanations but also he deepened in political and social talks and discussions, which is really a serious way of approaching a new country when you are visiting it. Excellent tour guide! The only weakness of this tour is the fact that no drinks are included for the lunch and the restaurant doesn´t take credit cards for paying them
