Mt. Pilatus is a fantastic place to be. If its not cloudy, it offer some of the most spectacular views!.... Once on top you can do a 40 min trek, and there are 2 view points from where you can enjoy beautiful scenic views of the valley. Unfortunately you dont get to do all activities within the time allocated by the tour company. The first stop where they ask you to stay on and get off directly at the top of Mt. Pilatus has some nice adventure activities which are not part of this tour and are also not allocated any time incase you'd like to do it on your own. All in all... great place, but it needs more time so i suggest you should do it on your own since its very accessible by train..

Very very beautiful... I didnt know that Lakes and Mountains district had lovely hotels. I highly recommend this tour... Its very very scenic! If you're also doing the Sound of Music tour... be careful there is considerable overlap on these 2 tours and you'd end up going to the same places again.

Very tiring and physically demanding.. Must train well before taking this tour. There's a 40 min uphill mountain climb + 1400 odd steps to climb. The effort is all worth it in the end!

I took the HK Island tour for a layover that i had at Hk airport for around 8 hrs. Stanley market and the Peak are the only places i liked, but they allowed us only an hour each at these spots. The Jewelry factory was totally unnessesary and a complete waste of time! Also @ the Peak they only take you to the "free" viewing zone. The SkyTerrace (which has the best view from the Peak) is at your own expense. Also we were not taken to Madame Tussads which is located at the Peak Tower - i guess there's only so much you can do in an hour! Only if they didnt do the jewelry factory and allowed an extra hour at the Peak Tower it'd be nicer. Overall if you have no plan for the day and want an intro to the city and of course never been to HK, this is just an average trip. So dont expect too much,

The highlight of the tour really...! Just ensure that your jumpmaster is a well experienced guy. My wife was luckier than me in that respect. Must do activity while in NZ!
