Oahu Surfing Lessons

My Review: This was a great opportunity to surf while in Hawaii. It is not for everyone but some love it more than others. It is definitely hard work and for beginners 2 hours is more than enough in the sun.

Paradise Cove Luau

My Review: Apparently this is the best Luau on the island. It was quite good and the Kulala Pig was highly edible. The drink vouchers worked well and you had to pay a bit extra and get the stronger drinks when you get to the bar.

Big Island Day Trip: Volcanoes National Park from Oahu

My Review: This was an all day trip to the Big Island. Do expect to see a conventional volcano as it is different to what you may expect. However, it was amazing to be quite close to an active volcano. Our tour guide had a monotone voice so although he was knowledgeable he kind of put us to sleep sometimes. Early start and late finish for the whole day.

My Review: This was a great day. This is a very popular activity. The drive is a bit long from Waikiki but at least you can take in all the sites and the tour guides keep you entertained. If you just take the basic package when you get there your tour guide will give you the option to pay an extra 10 so that they can take you around, you definitely want to do that otherwise you will get lost. The night show is fantastic a must see. We did not do the Luau. While we were waiting we actually did a tour of the Morman Temple that is nearby.

My Review: This is probably one of the most popular tours in Hawaii as it is so significant to their history. It is definitely touching and sad to hear the stories however it was a bit long winded so in the end it got a bit boring. You must pay the extra 10 on the day to get the audio tour otherwise you will have to read all the displays.

Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation

My Review: This is a must do tour as it takes you around the whole island in one day with a opportunity to take amazing photos of the scenery. We had a fantastic tour guide that was very knowledgeable. You have to taste the Dole pineapple whip at the plantation, YUM!!
