Paris by Night Illuminations Tour and Paris Moulin Rouge Show

My Review: We enjoyed this tour, but it wasn't a 'must do' in my eyes. The Illuminations tour bus ride was narrated by plug in headphones, and my set didn't work so I missed the first five minutes or so. We were scheduled for the second 11pm Moulin Rouge show so we had a complimentary tour of the river Seine. It was enjoyable but it was a huge boat and not at all personal. The tour guide simply told us to meet back at the bus and gave us vouchers. The Moulin Rouge was of course a must see, even if just to say that you've done it. The show had a mediocre beginning but got better towards the end. Our seats were towards the back but the view was perfect as it was tiered seating at we were at the front of the table. I'd recommend this tour if you have time, but if you have other things to see and do, I'd recommend booking the Moulin Rouge only.

My Review: This tour was by far the highlight of our trip. It was snowing the whole time and the temperature was said to be between -1 and -5 C, so no one else turned up except for me and my partner. Our guide was exceptional. His knowledge of the history of Paris and its sights was absolutely amazing, and he told it in a fun and interesting way that managed to keep our spirits high even with the freezing weather. The office staff was also extremely helpful, even lending me a jacket to keep warm. The tour allowed us to see everything we wanted to see in Paris, learn more history in 4 hours than I did in all of high school, and have a great time doing it. I'd recommend this tour in an instant to anyone and everyone.

My Review: Seeing the Swiss Alps was absolutely amazing. The tour went through the mountains by bus, through Lurcene and Interlaken. The bus ride took about an hour and a half, and then we got on the train for almost another two hours. It was an awfully long trip, but worth it for the result!
