Our guide who drove us around the whole day was fantastic. He was tireless in making sure we all enjoyed ourselves. I particularly liked the tour of Pompeii. Our guide was very knowledgeable and clear and you could see he was passionate about his work.

Capri Day Trip from Rome

Capri was beautiful but the journey there was simply too long. Also, we were told that lunch would be free but we had to pay for our drinks which was fine except that no one told us how much the drinks would cost and the waiters didn't ask if we wanted the drinks but just set them on our table.

The group was too big. The guide did her best but I couldn't always follow what she was saying. I suppose it's not her fault. The Vatican was simply too crowded.
