A great day with an excellent tour guide. The fishing village was a real eye opener and the local treats available for sale were tastier than they looked. Plenty of interesting vegetarian food provided for lunch. Word of advice - it can be wind swept at the Buddha so pack a scarf or jacket. A great day had by all.

Although I'd been there a few times before with work it was nice to see the sights with my young family at this pace. My only detraction was the tour of the local jewellery manufacturing factory/store, sure it was interesting but I don't think tours should be vehicles for this type of selling. The guide was great and the day was a win for my wife and 2 girls - as for the jewellery store, they're girls, so of course they loved it.

My wife rated this as the highlight of the 3 HCM tours booked through Viator! Our 2 girls, aged 7 and 9, also both thoroughly enjoyed this trip, lots to see, do and taste. Thanks

A great tour tainted slightly by the propaganda DVD you watch at the beginning. The additional 'real' sound effects of AK47 rounds being shot off at the nearby shooting range make the tour somewhat strange. You have the opportunity half way through the tour. My girls, aged 7 and 9, also enjoyed the stop off at the rubber plantation and local resident's house.

This is a must see tour on your first day! Not just for the highlights taken to but the opportunity to ask lots of questions of your guide to plan the rest of your visit. Our guide, Ming, was absolutely fantastic and gauging by the photos uploaded he is a common guide used - you will really enjoy this tour if lucky enough to have him too. HCM can be quite claustrophobic for children and spouses on the first day, but have a great tour guide really made for a settling in and really enjoyable day. Great food too! Thanks Ming
