Our guide was truly excellent. We worked hard to cover the whole area with her suggestion at the outset ... "Courage". After getting to the top, at the Cathedral, most of the rest was downhill. Fortunately, "no flash" pictures in the Cathedral were fine. NO PICTURES at all, at the Santo Tome means you have to buy the book ... To get "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz" the El Greco Masterpiece. (Similar to the Prado). Inside there is no one watching if you do not use a flash.
One learning experience ... be sure to carry you passport number or a copy of your passport. We had a minor bus accident and the police needed such for their report. Our guide was superb in keeping us calm and a new bus showed up promptly after the police finished. Only lost an hour.
New York City, New York
The ideas presented are great. The only problem is that many museums do not give the pass holder anything to save time at the entrance. The Natural History Museum did have a special guy pulling folks out of the two lines if he saw the pass. The MoMa, Metropolitan and Guggenheim treated us just like those who were buying new tickets. We did not go to the Empire State building. The museums were fabulous. We have nothing but respect for the excellent exhibits, fine docents and the well done displays. We even have pictures where one would not expect to be able to use a camera. A+ to New York.
