I took this trip a few months ago and I thought it was great. I just took it again with my wife and it was even better this time!  Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and she spoke both English and Spanish fluently. The trip to Masada was great.  The only complain I have (and had in my previous review), was that we didn't spend too much time at the Dead Sea.  Also, I'm sure there are better places to visit in the Dead Sea, I wouldn't mind paying a few extra $$ for a cleaner shower and a bigger, and less crowded beach.

It was just wonderful!!!  Excellent guides and a great experience!!!  I just wish we had spent more time at the Dead Sea.

The driver made too many stops (and some of them too long) so we could buy souvenirs.  Buying is ok, but none of us wanted to spend 30 precious minutes in a shop.  The border crossing was too long, not because of the paperwork, but because the travel guide took our passports for another half hour on the Jordanian side, while he "helped us" with the process.... that was very uncomfortable and suspicious.

Our driver on the Jordanian side had a very limited English, and that caused many communication issues. The travel company made a mistake and told me that my flight back to Tel Aviv departed at 7:25 pm.  Other travelers had their flights a couple of hours later, so I had to drop from the tour in Aqaba to cross the border and catch my flight (after a long and tedious discussion with the driver and the guide telling me that it was "my fault" for not telling them about my flight on time.  Once I got to the border, driven by a Jordanian travel guide, he took my passport again and asked me to pay for his vehicle's entry into Israel, which I refused. After he called the Israeli company and discussed, he gave me my passport back and I crossed.  At the end of the day, the flight time they gave me was wrong, but fortunately Arkia (the airline) was able to accommodate me on the early flight anyway.  General recommendation: don't take this trip on a single day, stay one night in Jordan and get to Petra early in the morning so you have time to see everything and avoid the heat of midday.

It was nice and enriching.  The only bad thing is that we spent too much time in a Palestinian store while some guys arranged our border crossing into the West Bank.  Our Israeli and Palestinian guides were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.  They were patient and nice with my group, which included an elderly gentleman whom they helped all the time so he would not miss anything.
