The Amoulin Rouge has been n existence for quote some time, so I was expecting a little more than what I got. The table that I share with 8 others did make it a lot more enjoyable as one of the guests was a trained ballet instructor. Even without her expertise, we were not entirely. I was not impressed with the dancers as they sometimes appeared bored or didn't want to make genuine eye contact with the audience. I was expecting more of a French content but wad surprised when sets took p,ace in the middle east, some mythical ones with Medusa, China, America etc etc.... I'm happy to check this off my things to do in Paris but would not recommend it or go and see the show again.
This tour far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this tour to all friends and family. There is not one aspect that I can rave about but many, for example, the tour guide was well informed humorous, energetic, helpful n taking our photos and managed to pull us together as a group. The scenery, the market stop to buy food, the picnic, the time taken to ensure that we had enough time for questions and to absorb the information made it all worth while. Well done!
This organization, 'Fat Tire Bike Rides,' did a wonderful job of hiring knowledgable people who love what they do and that transpires into their enthusiasm for informing us tourists. We got a wide variety of information and covered a least 10ks of Berlin, we even had the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a traditional beer garden.
