Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino

My Review: This is a decent show however Savard lacks excellence in presentation skills that you would generally expect in a Las Vegas based production. I cannot put my finger on it but there was something lacking in this show that would not make this my first choice in future if I had a choice of similar shows to see.

Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour with Optional IMAX

My Review: I enjoyed this trip but it is a long journey to and from the South rim compared to the optional West rim tour so be warned! It is about 10 hrs return on the coach for 3-4 hours at the Grand Canyon. It is nevertheless worth the ride if you want to see the Grand Canyon which of course is spectacular.(I cannot comment on a comparison with West rim tour as I havent been) I did the optional IMAX presentation which I personally thought was disappointing. Lastly the final stopping point on the coach offered no refreshment facilities whilst the stop straight after lunch did. As it was December and very cold I think there would have been benefit in switching the two stops around so hot drinks could be purchased immediately prior to boarding the coach for the long drive back.
Otherwise a reasonably well organised trip which offered what you would expect but no more.

Ultimate Hoover Dam Tour

My Review: This truly was a 5* trip. The guide who was called Jody was incredibly attentive to everyone learning names of everyone who boarded the coach and thereafter being friendly and approachable and on first name terms with all. The visit to the dam and its workings is incredible but it was excelled by Jody's knowledgeable input throughout as she accompanied us on the dam walkabout and explained history etc in favour of leaving us to our own devices as is usually the case on such trips. Further the fine lunch that this tour company arranges at the Boulder City Hotel on behalf of its clients far surpassed what is usually provided on such excursions. Worth every penny and without doubt the company to use for Las Vegas trips in my opinion (via Viator of course who are truly offering great value for money deals)..
