This was a wonderful tour. We had a fantastic tour guide: Nicola. The biggest compliment I can give him is that he even got my mom to listen to his stories and remember most of what he said, and she has a short attention span and has no interest in history! So for her to retain 3 hours worth of his stories and history of the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill, pretty amazing! This tour is highly recommended--it was a great way to start our first day in Rome.

This was a fantastic tour! Highly recommended to everyone, regardless of whether you have riding experience. The guides were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The ride was beautiful and peaceful--and out of 4 of us, I was the only one with any riding experience, but everyone had a great time. After the ride we ended at a winery and got a tour, plus lunch and a wine and olive oil tasting. Then our driver stopped for gelato and a picture stop overlooking Florence on the way back. Wonderful, unique day trip.

Water taxi is absolutely the best way to arrive in Venice. Our shared taxi included one other couple. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes once we arrived at the meeting point for anyone else that booked the shared taxi. I would have given this 4 or 5 stars, except our water taxi driver got pulled over by the water police half way through the ride and we ended up getting stuck for about 30 minutes while the police stopped our driver and checked everything aboard the boat and all his paperwork and then wrote him a ticket. The reason I booked this in the first place was to get to Venice as quickly as possible since we had a limited amount of time there, so this was particularly frustrating and there was nothing we could do about it. I think this was probably a rare instance though, so I would probably book again if I went back.
