My Rating

It was amazing to find out what is under the streets of Rome. Great tour, personable and very knowledgeable guide who seemed to take alot of pride in his work. The only reason we gave it 4 stars, was the fact they did not have headsets and being in such narrow and small areas the group was strung out and could not hear alot of the much narrative.

Looking back if we had to choose only one of our 5 booked tours, we would choose the Colosseum tour. Just overwhelmed by the mass and scale of the Colosseum area. Adding to all that our guide was OUTSTANDING. She was personable, funny , beautiful and has a dregee in archaeology. What more could you ask.? We will remember those 4-5 hours the rest of our lives. Thank you.

3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
Rome, Italy
My Rating

Very nice break to get out of Rome and see the beautiful countryside. We saw too many wonderful things to comment on them all, but of course the highlight of this tour was Pompeii. Have to see it because words cannot convey the magnificence. Also the day spent in Capri was beautiful. Rode the chair lift to the highest point on the island where there was a 360 degrees view of the island. We had a small group and a great guide.

Don't hesitate to book the Borghese tour because you think it might be a "boring" gallery or museum. Simply amazing. Our guide was an art major which added so much. She was funny, beautiful, spoke perfect English so she was easy to understand. The Borghese is filled with so many great works, you could go 5 days in a row and see something you missed before. A highlight of our vacation. Thank you.
