Great tour with sufficient time to explore both Harburg and Rothenburg. Be prepared to do some shopping if your interested in ancient or medieval Europe...and don't forget the camera.

We did similar tours in both Venice and Rome and this one was by far the best. Not only did the tour guide provide factual in interesting information about the sites visited, he (Rob) did it in the most entertaining and engaging fashion. A MUST do tour to see the underbelly of Munich

Well programmed tour with time to see all the sights of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles.
Clean coach and clearly spoken and helpful guide. The tour was all that it calimed to be and the sights overlooking the castle at Neuschwanstein were breathtaking.

Whilst this tour was 'worth doing' too much time was spent on Fraueninsel at the expense of time at the Royal Castle of Herrenchiemsee. In addition, the tour guide was a too casual in his attire for a 'professional' tour guide, stripping down to a singlet for much of the tour.

Great way to see many of the places not on a normal tour of Venice. It was also a good, balanced account of the influence the christian church exerted over the population and the politics of the middle ages.

One should not go to Italy without including a trip to Pompeii. As with all the tours we did through Viator and that were run locally by Dark Rome Ltd, this was very well run with clean coaches and courteous, helpful and clearly spoken english speaking guides. Would always use Viator and Dark Rome in future

A great way to see Rome at night and to visit the less touristed locations within Rome. The guide was well spoken (english), helpful and presented a balanced reporting of the role the early christian church played in Rome. Well worth the time and the money.

'Worth doing' but only just. As with the comments I read while reviewing this tour, the lunch stop was unnecessary and detracted from the remainder of the tour by limiting the time spent in either Assisi or Orvieto. More time was spent at lunch than was available at eith Assisi or Orvieto. In addition the tour guide did not enforce the schedule nor provide clear direction such that our tour arrived back in Rome over an hour late. A particular concern since we had another tour that night. Unlike our other tours, this one was locally managed and I would not use or recommend them.
That said, the sights at Assisi and Orvieto made up for what would otherwise been a disastrous day

We took the early (0830) start tour and was glad we did. The access to the underground chambers and the third level of the Colosseum were special and not available to anyone who purchase a ticket at the entrance. The skip the line feature of this tour was also great.

Whilst the tour was well organised and matched its description, this tour is definitely only for those ghouls at heart.

Do NOT visit Rome without doing this tour. Using the Angels and Demons book as its context, this tour provides both great access and well as insight into the sites visited as well as the role of the early roman catholic church. Very entertaining!
