Nice tour. Good tour guide. We got to see some things that were off the beaten path and we had a nice mix of other touring folks to spend the day with. The rating is probably a bit lower due to the fact that this day trip just does not compare with other things we did on our trip such as the Great Ocean road and Milford Sound tours. The other part that was a bit underwhelming was the River Cruise on the way back. Your small group joins about 4 other various size buses and you all pack onto the boat. The day we were on the boat the bottom of the boat was all set up for a Wedding reception so it was off limits which made it all the worse as everyone was packed on the top level.

Liked the overall idea. Have used these types of cards to great success in London and Paris. Unfortunately, you can't receive the actual card in advance like those cards. Therefore, if you have to wait until 9:30AM or so until you can pick it up at one of the available spots. This made us have to buy ferry tickets due to our desire to go out to the Fish Market around 8AM. We also thought we would be able to use the code to enter the Maritime Museum without getting the card but that turned out to not be true. We ended up spending some extra time finding the nearest location to get the card and then walking back to the museum. After those trip up's we enjoyed the card and used it a bunch for ferry's and museums and such.

We got there slightly late due to the ferry schedule. Warning there is a bus that will take you to the Zoo entrance at the top of the hill but it waits for all of the ferry passengers to fill it up and then it is about a 5+ minute ride up the hill. So do not take a ferry that arrives almost at the start time of the tour or you might be late. The zoo staff got us to the zoo keeper (also the tour guide for this) and we were on our way. We were there in early March and there was only a total of 5 of us on the tour so we had plenty of time to ask questions, spend time with the animals, and see what we wanted to see. Would definitely want to do this again. Very unique experience seeing a different side of the zoo. We did the 2pm tour and still had some time after to see a bit more of the zoo but not a lot. So if you want to see more I would suggest you go earlier.

Dinner was very good. Had a good mix of other tour folks and it helped make the night even better. Loved the free pickup/drop off from the hotel. Lots of interaction with animals including the opportunity to hold a Koala and pet Kangaroos. If you like zoo's and want to see the animals up close, this is definitely the tour for you.

Nice large boat to explore on the long trip out to the reef. Very smooth ride even in the rainstorm we were in on the return trip. The downside is the slower pace in which it moves. We did the Semi-submersible first and loved it. Very good way to start the reef exploration. Next we were on the glass bottom boat and that was fine but I am sure we would have been more excited about it we had not just completed the Semi-submersible. We opted for the buffet and the food was fine. Best part was probably the fact that if you did the other mini-tours as described above you pretty much are right at the boat for lunch. So that makes it very convenient. We did see some other options on the island but I am sure they would have taken more time and been more expensive. We walked the entire island next and saw some of the beaches and the rainforest. Finally, we spent the last several hours snorkeling and loved it. There are other options for similar trips as we saw other boats but I am glad we opted for this one. Great crew and had a great time.

Another great tour guide. Loved the tour. The BBQ besides the river was awesome nothing like a freshly grilled meat on the Barbie. The cruise on Milford Sound was great. We upgraded to the Fixed Wing return trip and this was by far the best choice for us. You have several options, two different Helicopter tours, the fixed wing, and of course the included return bus trip. The pilot was the best, we had a great calm day and the flight was simply delightful. I am glad we waited because that way he had an idea of the type of day but I am sure that may be a tougher thing to do in the busy season. My wife and I had never been on a 6 person plane but we loved it. Took a ton of pictures.

Loved the steamship!!! Nice ride over and back. Great time to relax, ride a part of history, and take lot's of pictures. The Farm was great. I grew up on a farm and it was a treat to check one out in NZ. Great guides at the Farm and the afternoon tea was very nice. The sheep dog demonstration was amazing!!! The new litter of puppies were adorable.

We had a very good tour guide. He kept the trip interesting during the driving sections and also was very good about pointers and going out with the groups during the stops. I wish I could remember his name but I know that he had only been doing this tour for a couple of weeks. Loved the overall tour. Long day but definitely went faster due to the tour guide. Would definitely do this again!!!

Tour was ok. The tour group was probably to large as it was too easy to fall out of range from the leader since you were in a single file line and going around corners a lot in Venice. Thus lost signal to the sound receiver you get much of the time. Also had an issue with one receiver as it stopped working halfway through tour.

Tour was great except for the Glass sellers after the initial stop.

One of the best tours in Italy!!! Lunch was great and the wine was heavenly.

Second best all day tour in Italy only losing out slightly to the Tuscany tour from Florence. Great guide and great day.

A must see in Rome and the guide was great!!!

Bus was much slower to make it to stops than advertised. Due to this they were almost completely full. Many of the ear phone plugin's were not working so you could not hear the commentary. The Boat ride was better which is why this got at least the 2 stars.

Great tour, great guide, and definitely a must see in Rome. It is a long walking tour, so make sure you are prepared for that. There are a few places to rest during the tour but with so many others touring the Vatican they are usually already taken. Don't make the mistake we did and take the tour the same day you arrive in Italy after a long overnight flight and you should be fine. Even with both of being tired we really enjoyed the Tour!
