This was a lovely day. The trip was exceptionally well organised. The tour operator has just brought in a new system where you get a boarding pass clearly showing times of pick ups, trains, sky trains etc and it really worked well. Both the Kuranda Railway and the Sky Rail are excellent. Kuranda is very quaint and we enjoyed walking round the shops and craft market followed by a good lunch. Its an expensive trip but we enjoyed it.

The Tower Buffet is well worth a visit. The views are stunning, the food is good, varied and plentiful and although you only get 90 minutes in there you never feel rushed. The staff were very friendly and most accommadating and in comparison to other Sydney Restauants I believe this too be good value. And where else could you get those sort of views.

We opted for the 5 course late dinner and we were not disappointed. The tram was on time and we were shown to our table in the carriage. The whole ambience was brilliant and the food was to match. Our waiters Tim and Rita were super hosts who kept the beautiful Australian Wine flowing at all times. Half way round we stopped for photos and then only too soon the night ended.
This was an exceptional one off experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
