Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Tour / Activity
Location: Rome, Italy
My Review: This tour is a must for anyone wanting to learn something at the Vatican. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He made learning about the museum exciting. We didn't breeze through the rooms and just go to the Sistine Chapel. We learned a lot about the art and sculptures, got to go through the map room and Raphael Room and then the Sistine Chapel. We only had about 20 minutes in there, which it is a little hard to absorb it all in that time, but there is so much to see. It ended with a self-guided tour of the Basilica. But you got to skip the lines and that is so nice when you are traveling. I didn't have to think about navigating once I got to the Vatican. I am so glad we did a tour because I would have only got a fraction of that information by myself. It was well worth the money! Other people I talked to said they didn't like their tour so it is tour guide dependent but all my tours with Viator.com where great!

Rome Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Rome, Italy
My Review: The trip was just OK. It took you by the better stops but the audio and condition wasn't as nice as the red bus ride we had in Florence. But for the price it did it's job. I would have liked one that ran a little longer and made more stops.

Florence City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Florence, Italy
My Review: It was a good way to see the city and learn the lay out. I would definitely recommend doing both routes. If you don't have that much time, you must check out Fiesole. It is on the longer route but gives you breathtaking views of the city. The guide didn't really give any suggestions on where to go to see the view but I found out you need to go up the hill near the church of San Fransesco, it's a very steep path but well worth the view. The bus is also good for getting around town and we didn't have to use any money for mass transit. On a personal note I left my camera on the bus while hopping off at a stop and they even helped me get it back! They get extra credit for that!
