New York City, New York
The first part of the tour is 2 hours but could easily be condensed down to 1 hour really if a bit more structured and focussed. However, worth sticking with it as the church/gospel choir was excellent, really uplifting (even though I don't really have any faith). Lunch at Sylvia's also excellent.
This tour was excellent. Condensed highlights of Berlin, covering Hitler and the rise of the Nazis as well as the East/West split post war. The guide Kristin was top notch, but sadly it was her last tour! Lasted just under 5 hours, which included a 25 min break, but never a dull moment.
Did the 3 hour walking tour with local guide (well Irish local!) Terry who was excellent. A good mixture of facts and entertaining stories and well worth doing. Suggest you do it early in your trip in order to get your bearings early on. Terry had a good source of useful info for the rest of your trip. He recommended a trip to Kaukenhoff Gardens (only available March to May), which we did and we're very grateful to him for the advice as is the gardens were beautiful.
