FC Barcelona Football Stadium Tour and Museum Tickets
Barcelona, Spain
My Rating

The Camp Nou was very informative and is highly recommended especially if you are a fan of football. The exhibits go through the history of the club from its foundation and it also talks about the highs and lows of the club. An audio guide is included with the entry although you need to pay a deposit.
During the tour you are allowed to walk through the press room and the away change room to get a taste of what it feels like to be there during match day. All in all it was a great tour!

Small-Group Barcelona Cooking Class
Barcelona, Spain
My Rating

There were 12 of us in total for the cooking class but only 4 of us had paid for the additional market tour. During the market tour our guide introduced and bought some local ingredients needed for the cooking class.
All the participants had lots of fun and the class was quite interactive and hands on. Our instructor made sure that everyone got involved in the cooking and no one was left out. The recipes of all the dishes that we cooked was also given to us for keeping.
If you're interested in learning more about Spanish/Catalan cuisine I would highly recommend the class!

Tapas Evening Walking Tour of Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain
My Rating

We ended up having a private tour as no one else was booked in for the tour for that day. Because of this we learnt a lot about not only the local cuisine but also about the culture and history of Barcelona. The tapas that we tried was excellent and was also quite different to the ones we had in Madrid. We had a fantastic evening and would highly recommend the tour!

Madrid Tapas Night Walking Tour
Madrid, Spain
My Rating

There was a group of 6 of us and we had a great selection of drinks and tapas throughout the night. As recommended by the guide we had pooled our money together (around 25 Euros each) so that we could all share the various tapas that he ordered. Everything was very well explained and the guide even provided us with some information about the history of Madrid. Oh and the tapas were all great!! We were so full by the end of the night that we could hardly move :D

Discover Berlin Half-Day Walking Tour
Berlin, Germany
My Rating

Our American tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good and detailed account of the historical significance of each of the stops along the walk. He had a folder with various photos and maps which also helped to illustrate a couple of points. For a quick and concise historical tour you can't go past this walking tour.
Make sure you have something to eat beforehand as the tour finishes at approximately 2pm with only 1 short break in between.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Small Group Tour from Munich
Munich, Germany
My Rating

It was our first time visiting a Concentration Camp and as such we weren't too sure what to expect. Unfortunately we only had limited knowledge of the events that happened and no overaching introduction of the events were given - the guide went straight into the nitty gritty details of what happened at the camp. As such I would recommend doing some background reading beforehand to have a better appreciation of the events.
That being said the experience was sobering and quite emotional at times. Unfortunately you don't get time to go through all the exhibits yourself but the tour gives you a very quick but detailed overview of the atrocities that happened there.
Also our guide did come across as slightly neutral about the events - I guess it must be difficult to talk about such events especially being a German himself.
That being said I would still highly recommend the tour as we definitely learnt along from visiting the camp.

Horse Riding in Chianti Day Trip from Florence
Florence, Italy
My Rating

Our driver and guide Jacopo for the day was very enthusiastic and answered all our questions about Florence on the way to Chianti.
The horse ride itself was fantastic and relaxing and no prior experience is required!! The horses are very well trained and minimal "steering" is required.
After the ride we were treated to a nice lunch at the winery following by explanations on the wine and olive oil production by Joseph (another guide) at the winery as well as a tour of the grounds.
On the way back to Florence we stopped by for some Gelato which was great!! This was definitely our highlight from our trip to Florence and we would highly recommend it :)

Pisa and the Leaning Tower Half-Day Trip from Florence
Florence, Italy
My Rating

The local guide at Pisa was very knowledgeable and gave a good account of the 3 buildings there (the baptistry, basilica and the bell tower). The tour also gave us an hour to wander around ourselves which was plenty of time to take silly photos with the leaning tower! The guide on the bus to and from Pisa gave some quick overviews of the sights to and from Florence but don't expect a comprehensive explanation in this regard. All in all highly recommended!!
