Buses ran frequently and take you to all the places you could possibly want to see in Washington.

What an incredibly moving and fitting tribute to all those who lost their lives on 9/11. The audio tour is excellent and the museum just incredible.

A good tour.. not so nice if the weather is bad as it was on the day we went. (nothing you can do about that though). Guide on the boat we had was excellent and pointed out loads of places of interest along the way. This trip literally goes to the statue and back so if you want a cruise that goes all round Manhatten Island then chose another cruise.

The weather on the day we had booked for was appaling with 0 visability at the top of the building. The staff at the Empire State were so helpful. Told us straight away we could use our tickets another day when the weather had improved. They stamp a :-( on your ticket and then you can come back anytime in the next 12 months. Once we did get up there the view is AMAZING. I would recommend the ticket that bypasses the queue though as we waited 1 1/2 hours before getting in the lift.
