This was a fabulous trip and highly recommended. The tour of the small champagne producer was particularly good and gave a great insight into the wine making process. Lunch at Epernay was very good quality. The Moet tour was very professional if somewhat formula driven. You didn't get to see anything of the wine making process although it was explained. Tasting at both places was good with the chance of having a glass of Moet a good way to finish the tour. Our driver/guide was not overly friendly but did know a lot about the region. The drive to and from Paris is through beautiful countryside. All up a very pleasant day

This trip didn't work for us at all!

We elected to do the gardens in the afternoon and found the cheese tasting not open.
No advise on how to get to Van Gogh museum from the staff where we picked up the tickets, only a tiny map that had a couple of biro x's added to it, so walked for an hour to get there.
By the time we finished the museum (very crowded, understandable given how good it is) we realised that we could not fit in the gardens and the boat trip.
We elected to do the boat trip and listened to automatic commentary that constantly referred to a booklet that we weren't given(no one on the boat had one)

A lot of money for museum entry and a substandard boat trip
