Eiffel Tower, Paris Moulin Rouge Show and Seine River Cruise

Unfortunately, we were not able to go to the Eiffel Tower because there was only one elevator working. Instead, we were taken to the Montparnasse Tower, and simply dropped off for over an hour! The observation area at that tower was not very attractive; it was cluttered and crowded. We were simply stuck there for well over an hour with not much to do. How long can a person look out over Paris? The bus went back to pick up other people from another Seine dinner cruise. We had specifically booked this tour so that we could skip the line to the Eiffel Tower, and then that part was not available! I had actually read much earlier that there was a problem with the elevators at the Eiffel Tower. One day, I got a email from Viator suggesting this tour, and we booked it so that we could avoid the lines, and we also wanted to take the dinner cruise on the Seine, and go to the Moulin Rouge. I now have to think that Viator knew that there would only be one elevator operating when they offered the tour, and that it really would not be available. That is false advertising! Subbing the Montparnasse Tower is absolutely NO substiture for the Eiffel Tower. I even received an email from Viator stating that they would refund 10 Euros because the Eiffel Tower would not be available. When we picked up the tickets, and asked for our 10 Euro refund, the lady did not know anything about that email offer of a refund, and would not give it to us. We already had a free pass to the Montparnasse Tower from our Paris Pass purchase. The Seine dinner cruise and the show at the Moulin Rouge were both enjoyable, however.

Our pickup was delayed by about an hour and a half. Perhaps, it was really our fault; maybe it was not. We were directed to "go through those doors" to get to Exit 6 where we were to be picked up. When we went through the doors, there were any people holding up signs with people's names on them, but we could not find our name. We called Paris Vision 3 times to report that we did not know what to do since there were no signs with our names on them. Eventually, they directed us to go outside, and then it was about 20 minutes before we were actually picked up. Perhaps, this was our fault, but I don't think that we were given good instructions about where we should go to meet our pick up service.
