The tour was very good and Alex was an excellent guide. The climb was a little more daunting than expected, especially the second portion from Vernazza to Montorossa. Great views and an excellent lunch. Try the seafood; it was wonderful.

Good route and commentary. Well worth the money to get your bearings in the first few days. We always use it in every new city.

If you're pressed for time this is the way to see Pompeii but ideally a guided tour is the best way. Pompeii is much bigger than I expected and we only saw half of it in the allotted time. It was worth the money and was very comfortable way to do the tour.

The tour was excellent and the Vatican is spectacular but don't go on Mondays. Nothing else is open so everyone goes on Monday. It was far too crowded to see it properly. We had to stand in line in pouring rain for half an hour even though we had beat the line tour tickets. There must have been 40,000 people there as you could barely move in St. Peter's. Here's a tip: buy an umbrella from the street sellers for 3-5 Euros rather than trying to hide under eaves. 3 hours in the Vatican while soaking wet isn't fun!
