This was a fantastic way to see the many treasures of Tuscany all on one day! Siena was wonderful, with added enjoyment as the Palio horse race was to be held the next day and all Siena was festooned in drapes and colours of each of the neighbourhoods. The vineyard visit was interesting with the wine tasting and meal an added bonus - it was lovely to socialise with our fellow trip takers and the noise level rose in relation to the amount of alcohol consumed! San Gimignano was lovely and we hard great views of the countryside. Pisa was the icing on the cake, simply amazing!
Agata our guide was fantastic - she was so knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for her. On our return journey to Florence she took time to come individually to each of us on the coach to ask if there were any questions we had - not just about the trip, but about Florence and surrounds in general - she was amazingly helpful.
If you do one trip when staying in Florence - do this one! I cannot believe what value it is and would thoroughly recommend this trip 100%
The guide was really informative and made the visit to Dachau so interesting. He was able to answer all questions the group asked and was a fountain of knowledge. I would recommend having a guided tour of the camp as there is so much to see and read that it can be rather overwhelming but a guide can tell you all of the vital information and answer any questions arising.
