This tour was not as good as the other Viator tours we have been on. We found the organisation not as 'slick' as the others and there was a lot of driving. The scenery was beautiful but the hold up at the Croatian border (for no apparent reason) for over an hour sitting in the hot bus was very annoying and this has apparently been the case for the last 3 months. It spoilt the day making us late for everything. After a break at the beginning of the trip there was no toilet or drink stop until we reached Kotor and did the guided tour - over 3 1/2 hours later. We were too tired and hungry to appreciate this lovely medieval town. Our time there was shorter than planned- very disappointing as the reason we chose this tour was for the extra time here. The visit to the Roman mosaics consisted of one excellent example of mosaics and pictures held up to show the others that were not there- I think they were being restored and the guide was very hard to understand- not worth the time. Unless you have extra days I wouldn't recommend this tour based on our experience.

An excellent and interesting tour. Take a light sweater as it can be cold in the crypts. Tour leaders were great and the bus between places gave welcome breaks from the heat and walking! Easy meeting point away from the crowds but easy to get to - walk or metro. Would recommend this tour - we enjoyed it thoroughly.

An awesome tour. The tour leader was inspirational and the content of the tour unmissable - you have to do this one when in Milan! Well worth the time and cost.
