Dubai Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
My Review: I had a very wonderful experience with this tour. I had only a 16-hour layover in Dubai and the tour suited me very well. I was able to see the major attractions. It is really worth the money spent. Two routes, a walking tour and a dhow cruise - all in one ticket. The buses arrive at a reasonable schedule. The staff are very corteous and helpful especially the Filipinos. I just wish that the Dhow cruise vessel should be covered to shield us from the heat of the sun. Overall, it was a very good tour.

Istanbul in One Day Sightseeing Tour: Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar
Tour / Activity
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
My Review: All I can say is that Istanbul is such a beautiful city. The only damper was the fact that it was raining while we were doing the tour. I had to buy an overpriced umbrella from a street vendor, and I was not able to enjoy taking pictures outside. Fortunately, the sun shone eventually when we were in Topkapi Palace. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of each of these structures. One will be captured by the treasures on display. If one has only a few days to spare in Istanbul, this is the tour to take!

Day Trip to Pergamum and Asklepion from Izmir
Tour / Activity
Location: Izmir, Turkey
My Review: This is also one of the tours that should not be missed! The Acropolis in Pergamum was truly captivating, although much of the original structures can now be found in the museums of Germany and Austria. I wish Turkey were able to recover them back, especially the temple of Zeus. The theater here is the steepest in the world and the view of the villages below is awesome. I also enjoyed the Asklepion ruins because of the very rich stories that our guide told us about the place.

Ephesus and St. Mary's House Day Trip from Izmir
Tour / Activity
Location: Izmir, Turkey
My Review: This is one of the highlights of my trip to Turkey! I am a devout Christian and seeing the well-preserved ancient city, made me beam with pride. To have walked the very same streets the Apostles Paul and John have stepped on is something that any Christian should not miss. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Ephesus and the story behind the house of Mary in the hills. The scenery from Izmir to Ephesus was breathtaking. We were treated to a Turkish meal at the end of the trip. It was awesome!

Bosphorus Cruise and Istanbul's Egyptian Bazaar
Tour / Activity
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
My Review: We were supposed to have the cruise in the morning, but due to bad weather our flight was delayed, but the local tour operator was gracious enough to postpone it in the afternoon. The cruise was awesome and we were treated to an afternoon delight of culture, history and nature. The cruise is one of the best ways to see Istanbul. Furthermore, the spice bazaar is to die for. I bought a lot of spices and samples of the local tea. The guide was very knowledgeable and very courteous.

Nile River Dinner Cruise in Cairo
Tour / Activity
Location: Cairo, Egypt
My Review: It was awesome. The guide picked us up on time directly from the hotel and was very courteous and attentive to our needs. The food was great especially the salad bar. The entertainment was great---especially the belly dancing and the whirling dervish. The band was full of energy and everybody in the audience loved it so much. I would never hesitate to dine in Nile Maxim again. Thanks Viator.
