Florence Super Saver: Best of Florence Walking Tour, Accademia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery and Florence Duomo

Florence, Italy

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

If you only have a short stay in Florence and want to see the major sites and galleries, this is the one to book. The morning tour was awesome. Seeing the real "David" is worth every penny spent. The lines are long even for booked tours, how much more if you are not part of one? Our guide, Kate, was from Florence. She is knowledgeable and personable. Indeed, the Uffizi gallery was amazing but the tour was a bit of a bore. Our guide knew her stuff very well but tended to be too verbose for comfort. But should not deter anyone not to book the tour.

Paris to Bruges Day Trip

Paris, France

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

If you have only a limited time, then this is the tour to book for a day excursion from Paris. Bruges is a beautiful old town. But it takes hours to get there. Better watch out for the French tour guide that uses a Red Umbrella...he did not give us anything insightful. He even smoked while he was giving us a tour, which i think was kinda inappropriate. He was totally useless. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the place because we decided to explore the city on our own.

Versailles Walking Tour with Optional Fountain Show

Paris, France

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

No trip in Paris is complete without a trip to Versailles. We spent the whole day visiting the apartments and the hamlets. The lunch was fantastic and Vincent our guide is insightful and passionate. There was so much to see and I wished I could have stayed longer. The lines were really long and having it booked in advance was a great advantage.

Dubai Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
I had a very wonderful experience with this tour. I had only a 16-hour layover in Dubai and the tour suited me very well. I was able to see the major attractions. It is really worth the money spent. Two routes, a walking tour and a dhow cruise - all in one ticket. The buses arrive at a reasonable schedule. The staff are very corteous and helpful especially the Filipinos. I just wish that the Dhow cruise vessel should be covered to shield us from the heat of the sun. Overall, it was a very good tour.

Istanbul in One Day Sightseeing Tour: Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar

Istanbul, Turkey

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
All I can say is that Istanbul is such a beautiful city. The only damper was the fact that it was raining while we were doing the tour. I had to buy an overpriced umbrella from a street vendor, and I was not able to enjoy taking pictures outside. Fortunately, the sun shone eventually when we were in Topkapi Palace. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of each of these structures. One will be captured by the treasures on display. If one has only a few days to spare in Istanbul, this is the tour to take!

Day Trip to Pergamum and Asklepion from Izmir

Izmir, Turkey

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
This is also one of the tours that should not be missed! The Acropolis in Pergamum was truly captivating, although much of the original structures can now be found in the museums of Germany and Austria. I wish Turkey were able to recover them back, especially the temple of Zeus. The theater here is the steepest in the world and the view of the villages below is awesome. I also enjoyed the Asklepion ruins because of the very rich stories that our guide told us about the place.

Ephesus and St. Mary's House Day Trip from Izmir

Izmir, Turkey

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
This is one of the highlights of my trip to Turkey! I am a devout Christian and seeing the well-preserved ancient city, made me beam with pride. To have walked the very same streets the Apostles Paul and John have stepped on is something that any Christian should not miss. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Ephesus and the story behind the house of Mary in the hills. The scenery from Izmir to Ephesus was breathtaking. We were treated to a Turkish meal at the end of the trip. It was awesome!

Bosphorus Cruise and Istanbul's Egyptian Bazaar

Istanbul, Turkey

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
We were supposed to have the cruise in the morning, but due to bad weather our flight was delayed, but the local tour operator was gracious enough to postpone it in the afternoon. The cruise was awesome and we were treated to an afternoon delight of culture, history and nature. The cruise is one of the best ways to see Istanbul. Furthermore, the spice bazaar is to die for. I bought a lot of spices and samples of the local tea. The guide was very knowledgeable and very courteous.

Nile River Dinner Cruise in Cairo

Cairo, Egypt

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
It was awesome. The guide picked us up on time directly from the hotel and was very courteous and attentive to our needs. The food was great especially the salad bar. The entertainment was great---especially the belly dancing and the whirling dervish. The band was full of energy and everybody in the audience loved it so much. I would never hesitate to dine in Nile Maxim again. Thanks Viator.
