Great morning out. The guide "Margo" was a local who really loved the Santa Marta neighborhood so that was great and we felt very safe walking around. It was great to understand the history and background and what is beig done to help the locals moving forward. Only negative was it was a little short at 2.5 hours

I would have given this a 5 start rating if this was based purely on the sights and the first tour guide but unfortunately the 2nd guide let the trip down. Once again I had "JB" for the morning Sugar Loaf mountain tour where you actually visit the cathedral downtown first. Views were amazing and despite a large group we all got to hear the information, knew where we were to meet and at what time etc. Next was lunch in Ipanema in a local restaurant which I thought was nice although the passionfruit sauce on the fish cake was way too sweet. The final part of the trip was the afternoon to see the statue. The guide we had while nice and lively, once he explained some things on the bus, once we got to the statue and were given the tram tickets we were all left wondering what to do next. He just wasn't good at letting people know where to go, what to do, what to look for and at keeping the group together. We ended up splitting into smaller groups and doing our own mini tours and working out what to do etc

Really enjoyable afternoon out. "JB" was our guide and what a true pro....we were a small group of 4 women and he made sure we were well looked after. His knowledge of Rio's history, the architecture and his sheer enthusiam made this a treat

I took this tour as soon as i arrived. Danilo from Urban Adventures was my guide. He was such a lovely guy, very mellow and was originally from Rio but had travelled so he had great English. He explained the history to the area, we visited the fort and then walked around Ipanema having a coconut water at a local vendor, watched the surfers and stayed to see the sunset over the twin peaks. Really nice way to start the vacation.

Very professional. The driver was smartly dressed, was waiting at the airport on time and gave some nice comments about the city on the way in. On the return the same driver arrived at the hotel early which was great to avoid the rush hour traffic and again very good service. He drive safely despite heavy rain and his car was immaculate

brilliant day out.....tour guide was absolutely amazing....great command of English....knew so much about the history and traditions etc and was just a lovely person

the guides were fantastic...both were very knowledgeable and friendly with great command of English....i think the down side was that we had to wait nearly 2 hours to get in the Academia and had to wait in boiling heat and we were disappointed by the number of exhibits once we were inside (although David was amazing!). The Uffizi was very interesting...alot of paintings from the great Italian masters and lovely location. If you do the am and pm tour you end up covering a couple of the same locations ie City Hall....so it'd be better if that was changed.

fantastic day out....sienna was beautiful but would have liked another hour or two of personal time to look around, the trip to the farm was interesting and lunch was one of the best and freshest meals we had in Italy, while the leaning tower of pisa was amazing and exceeded my expectations. the guide was excellent, spoke English extremely well, courteous and answered any questions you had
