Las Vegas, Nevada
On our recent day trip to Grand Canyon and Hover Dam, the package cost us US$314 per person but it was money well spent for the awesome helicopter ride. We were fetched at our hotel along the Vegas strip and the coach drove through Nevada to the West Rim. The coach was comfortable and our guide cum driver, Sam, gave us a lot of interesting information about the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and about Las Vegas in general.
After about 3 hours, we arrived at Hoover Dam and stop at the pedestrian walkway along the new Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge for some photo shots. We were only given 15 minutes for that. We then travelled through the ancient Joshua Tree Forest en route to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. After a short break at the Gateway Station Mini-mart in Arizona, our next stop was for the helicopter tour. The thrilling helicopter ride provided us with a superb view of the Canyon. We descend about 4,000 feet to the base of the canyon where we were greeted by Mr. Brokensky, a very friendly native from the Hualapai tribe. He briefed us some facts of the trip and taught us the meaning of hand greetings. We then board a pontoon boat for an approximate 15-minute ride on the Colorado River.
We then took a shuttle to the next stop called Eagle Point, where we had panoramic views of the Grand Canyon. There we experienced walking on the spectacular Grand Canyon Skywalk, where we walked over the edge of the canyon on a glass bridge 4000 feet above the canyon floor. We had lunch, rice and vegetable, and the best part of this meal was the experience of sitting eating lunch overlooking the canyon.
Due to the restricted time provided, we could not stop at Hualapai Range and Guano Point which were about five minute drive from Eagle Point.
I would highly recommend this tour as we had a wonderful day and this was our highlight of this trip to Vegas. The Grand Canyon is simply amazing and breat
San Francisco, California
On our recent trip to San Francisco, after reading alot of reviews, we decided to join your tour to Monterey and Carmel. The tour was good despite the rain in the afternoon at Pebble Beach. My family enjoyed the cruise along the spectacular coastline and the lunch at Monterey. The trip was well planned and it provided sufficient time to explore Monterey town and shop at Carmel. Lots of beautiful scenery to capture.
We were driven along California's stunning coast to the beautiful seaside towns of Monterey and Carmel. The cruise along the spectacular coastline was scenic. We stop along the coast for photo shot and then continue to explore the beautiful town, had lunch and visited the aquarium. Then continued driving along the 17-Mile scenic drive which is the home to the world renowned Pebble Beach golf course and magnificient mansions belong to the American rich and famous and celebrities.
Next, though it was raining, we stop for photo at the popular Lone Cypress tree, the most photographed tree in the world.
We finish the day with a stop at the enchanting Carmel by the sea, with a charming downtown shopping, before returning to San Francisco via the famous Silicon Valley.
Highly recommended trip if you are at San Francisco.
Viator has never fail us. We had a pleasant and very enjoyable experience travelling with our tour guide Mr. Jacek Nowotny. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We were told that we are very brave to choose this trip during winter as the temperature could dip drown to -40 deg C. As there were only three of us, we travelled in his family car and were given a first class service. We love this tour particularly because of our guide Franciska. She is very knowledgeable and very understanding. The tour provide us a good understanding to the history of the beautiful Nuremberg.
The tour is good but was a bit rushed tough. Many of our members we left behind by the local guide at Cordoba and were seperated. One of us had to phone him. Overall we like this tour as it provides good information on the history
