Ayers Rock, Australia
Else, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgable not just about the cultural and spiritual significance of the different sites around Uluru but also about the flora and fauna of the area. She was attentive, changing the pace of the walk according to the requirements of the group - there were 12 of us - ensuring that we returned to the hotel in time to get our flight back to Sydney. My wife left her camera on the tour bus and this was returned to us by post. Breakfast, included in the price, was excellent. My one small gripe was that I hadn't realised that the tour didn't include the entry fee to the National Park, which I had to pay by cash on the morning of the tour. I'd recommend this tour because the bigger tour groups that we saw didn't appear to fully take in all the wonders of one of the most amazing places on earth
