This is definitely a five star activity to do when you are in town. You don't come here to get "the real Argentine experience" you can get that anywhere in Argentina, you come here to have a real fun interactive experience and learn from expats that live here first hand of their "Argentine Experience". What does that mean? It means they take the best elements of their food that anyone would love, explain how and why it is so good and then they elevate it using Argentine technique mixed with expat taste to take it to the next level. You will learn to make empanadas. The best empanadas I had in Argentina. Were they traditional. Absolutely not, but they were the best I had. But in the process of learning how to make them, I did learn what was traditional and how an empanada can be made any way you want, including the way they make it, which for my pallet was somewhat more sophisticated than traditional. It is a great experience. The steak was EPIC. One of the best (I ate lots of steak in Argentina). Highly recommended for a fun informative tourist activity that is not necessarily Argentinian, but you will leave understanding much more about Argentina.
