Las Vegas, Nevada
The Ethel M Chocolate Factory and cactus garden stop was only worth it for the toilet stop. Unfortunately, if you have been to Cadbury World then no one else can really claim to be a chocolate factory and I have seen better cactus in Spain while walking along the promenade. The Hoover Dam tour was too informative for us, we would have been better to do the express tour. The lake mead cruise was also a little disappointing but lovely to sit up top in the sunshine in the quiet for a couple of hours. The lunch was just a roll, packet of crisps and fruit with a drink. There was a bar available at extra cost. Overall for the cost of the trip it was value for money. The tour operator was slick and bus driver was excellent and very informative. I think having been we would do express tour and Colorado river trip would have been more up our street.

Fantastic trip, which has to be done while in Vegas. Touching down in the canyon makes it extra special.
Volunteer to sit up front with pilot on way out as views over hoover dam, lake mead and approaching canyon are awesome. Pilot had lots of info on what you were seeing, very smooth ride, flew past the skywalk. An awesome day, Maverick was a very slick operator with pick up to Henderson and back, all processed very quickly, we went in a group of 3 choppers. Champagne was nicely chilled and went down well although the picnic was only some Ritz crackers, carrot and celery sticks and cheese with grapes. Lots of ice cold water available throughout trip. Overall value for money as once in a lifetime event and very cool.
