We had a great all-day trip out to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin. The entire trip lasted 13 hours and our bus driver, Bud, was very entertaining and welcoming! The trip was not exactly what had been listed on the Viator page, but we saw everything I'd planned on seeing, and more. I'd definitely recommend a trip out to the Cliffs of Moher.

This was a wonderful trip and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! This trip allowed us to see the small German town of Rothenburg, a gem of a town we normally would have missed. Our favorite day on our 25 day Europe trip was our day at the castles as well. We did both castles in one day and took a boat ride on the most beautiful lake either of us had ever seen, with the castles and the foothills of the Alps nestled around us. The accommodations are excellent and the bus tour was welcoming and informative. My only suggestion to the tour is to skip some of the smaller towns where it's only a 5-minute picture stop. Those stops, though interesting, made the bus ride longer than it needed to be.

We loved seeing the windmills and the clog-making factory up close. The cheese factory was interesting too, but nothing to get excited about. I was disappointed by the cheese shop actually. I can only assume it was done on purpose, because I was her only customer at the time, but the woman behind the counter switched out the cheese I handed her to purchase with one that did not have the fancy wrapping and was not the hard cheese variety that I had picked out. When I got home that evening I looked in my bag and found a green waxy blob instead of the nicely wrapped cheese I had picked out as my dad's souvenir. I figured we would still be able to try out the cheese and see if it tasted alright, but when we got back to the states and opened the bag it was in, it had molded. Watch your purchases so you don't get taken like I did!
