The drive up to the Bay of Islands is about 3 hours however 2 stops are suitable. The actual Bay of Islands is very beautiful and the tour of the Treaty grounds and the mini bus tour of Russell were excellent.

Compared to other cards in other cities there were not many free entries it was more of a discount entry. In its favour it allowed you to travel on public transport.

Overall I would have been better to get the Hop On Hop Off bus ticket and not the half day tour. The other half to Fatima was good but the coach could have been bigger as all seats were full.
