Francesca (One of eight Francescas in her company, Dark Rome) was our tour guide. She was fantastic! Her enthusiasm and knowledge kept us captivated the entire three hours. She has such an effervescent quality about her that we found very charming and fun. The lines we saw as we were leaving confirmed our decision about signing up. Keep in mind, that there are many early AM tour companies, so the Sistine Chapel and Vatican museum were not empty...but apparently it's a lot worse other hours of the day! The earpieces also made hearing the stories and details effortless. I would highly recommend the early AM tour with Francesca!
