This was a terrific tour. Our guide's name was Konrad and he had a great mixture of historical knowledge and personal experiences he shared that added greatly to the day. He also talked us into taking the mountain excursion which was worth every extra franc. One issue I had was that the extra mountain excursion was not explained when we checked in so when I went to purchase it I was not asked if I wanted it and the viator description was not clear on that..
It made our start late on the tour.. That could have been handled more gracefully
This was a very good tour...hard to feel excited by a tour like this but educational the entire time.....
My wife and were wondering how it was going to be for a German to take us on this tour and the frankness we would get with the discussions but I have to say our guide was exceptional...
He clearly stated facts but also added color and commentary that mad for a very frank but valuable view of the concentration camp processes as well as the more human and in-humane aspects.
Of the 8 VIATORS we took this was one of the weakers ones...
This was partly due to our Vienna timing. W got there Saturday night at 545 and left Monday morning...
Well Vienna closes Saturdays at 6pm and all day Sunday's...
Then to top it off the ring road had a motorcycle parade that kept that tours off the roads for 3 hours...
Just didn't make for a great day but the 3 routes you can get through in.day and you will see some of the prettiest architecture in all of Europe
So So tour.....
Walking tour in am was nice.
Very knowledge tour Guide and the basilica is amazing..good education on how city was built also....
Then comes the weaker part....long wait until grand canals boat tour...I think we waited 4 hours...
And they load a Abdul of people on a water taxi.. Our taxi driver was more interested in his iPhone than the tour
We took 8 tours in 13 days.
This one was the highlight.....
Not only is Tuscany breathtaking, but the towns your are taken to are very important if you are into wine....they really were the key 2 Tuscan towns and were both beautiful and historical....
Our tour guide Tiffany was exceptional...she had a ton of energy and was very knowledgeable on the history of not just the Tuscan region but of Italy...
The highlight of the day is the lunch at the winery....beautiful location..traditional food...amazing Tuscan reds....
This trip was apparently quite a new tour but if anyone in trying to see and experience Tuscany in a day, I'm not sure you could get a more perfect tour....highly recommend!.
Sort of is what it is....takes you to all the spots...
Capri itself was Breathtaking....absolutely worth the visit....
This tour however was not as wow as a couple others we took
Seems to me that the difference between good and great in these tours comes down to a single factor.. The strength of the guide...if they are wow, you will have a great day....if not, the day is good but not as memorable as it could be....
But in terms of sheer beauty, it's BEAUTIFUL....
Worst tour we had.. Vatican museum is amazing and a must see but they have no crowd control...
Wayyyyyy over crowded...
