I did this hike and I am glad I did but in saying that I could not do it again! It was a climb up in some places and I noticed it fast. So if you are out of shape or overweight, think twice, be prepared and go at your own pace. Otherwise it will seem even longer. But it is beautiful scenery and kind of surprising.

My husband and I did this climb. We are over 50, and I am scared of heights but this was great. The climb was not too difficult and the height was a bit of a concern but you are attach with a cable and the steps are sturdy. No ladders to climb. The guides were nice and they gave good training before the climb. Give it a try the view on top was worth it and I enjoy knowing that I did it!

I love to go up here every time I visit my daughter and family. It gives you beautiful views of Brisbane and surrounding area. Well worth the drive up there.

My Review

The trip was great. Both of us enjoyed the trip. Our bus driver, Walter, was funny and informative. It was a very long day we got back to our hotel after 10 pm so we were tired. But it was so much nicer than driving ourselves that distance. I would recommend this trip if you want to be able to, at the very least, see the Grand Canyon. Viator did have the best price for the bus tour that I found. But be prepared to pay a $20.00 extra fee (for 2) the morning you leave. I am not sure what the fee covered. Overall it was a good experience and we met a lot of nice people on the bus who were from all over the USA and the world (India, Colombia, Australia.) One bit of advice the elevation at the Canyon is 8000 feet so be prepared. Drink lots of water and bring a jacket it can be cooler than you would expect. And wear good walking shoes - the paths are paved but you still walk up and down quite a bit. We saw one woman stumble on some of the stairs. Otherwise enjoy the tour.
