Very crowded, no way to understand at times. Some of the speakers were not working, so no way to know wher you are or what you are seeing. The round trip is over two hours, close to three. , so it is difficult to get on and off and back to the starting point before the busses stop running at 5 PM
The 48 hour passes were useless. We wanted to see Berlin by night, but the busses stopped at 5 PM and you were put off wherever you happened to be.
Very beautiful, but not designed for anyone who is not young and in top condition. It is fast moving, covers a lot of territory, and if you can't climb hills, go down 400 steps at one time and keep up with the athletic guide, skip it.
The mine is magnificent and spectacular. VERY STRENUOUS
Everyone should see this. It snowed the day we went and was uncomfortable, but the loical guide was outstanding. This is a must for anyone who needs their faith restored in American pride and ethics..
