we felt the tour was ok but very hectic, we were probably more rushed because the Pope was in attendance. we felt annoyed that the entrance fee was hiked to 21 euros pp but the ticket door price was only 15 euros pp, why the extra? the guide 'lost' 8 people causing further delay, subsequently others had to leave the tour early, including ourselves to meet transport times. could have run a lot smoother. tip allow plenty of time for overun if having to meet transport meeting times.

Most enjoyable day, covering all the specified itinerary. Our guide was very knowledgable and had a good sense of humour. Excellent lunch in a very remote lodge, covered some very extreme off road jungle terrain, driver was very capable. well worth while trip. Thanks.

This was our favourite excursion!! 'A must do' if you intend Elephant Trekking, this particular one must rate higher than any other, set in the National Park, the elephants were well looked after and appeared contented. Nong our guide was informative and quite the comedian, more than happy to go along with our requests, visiting Tiger Kingdom on our return journey. Lunch was very good with plenty to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks.

Quite an eye opener, the floating markets have to be seen to be believed, with all the people living along the river bank in very basic huts. Bridge on the river Kwai part of the trip really put into prospective the hardships that were endured by the prisoners who were forced to build it, the museum had lots of accounts of happenings, but in our view needs preserving, seems the humid conditions are damaging the exhibits. The Cemetery was kept in pristine condition, as it should be. All in all a worthwhile experience but a VERY long day.

Well worth doing the private tour. Our guide made the trip most enjoyable, giving us excellent information about the different Temples and Buddha's their positions and what they represent etc etc, bringing in some humour as well. Just about the right length time wise, at least for us. A must do whilst in Bangkok.
