Mario gave us a relaxed and informative amble down to the river.He took the time and trouble to remember all our names and answer questions.The boat men were equally as nice and we had a lovely relaxing cruise and saw things from a different perspective.

We enjoyed this very much and saw things we would never have found ourselves.The stories were entertaining and our guide was good company,he bought the past alive.

The islands were beautiful,but it was a bit of a whistle stop tour.We were herded in to the sales opportunities in Murano,but rebelled on Burano and explored for the allotted time ourselves.It was nice to see the other Islands and the whole thing wasn't that expensive.The guide was multi lingual but it was difficult to pick out which was your language.
