Born in Croydon, Surrey UK I was raised in south London for my early days at school. Moving from Whyteleaf to Caterham, to Bromley and finally Farnborough, Kent before emigrating to Adelaide, SA in September 66. Found employment with Commercial Union before being called up for National Service for a two year stint. Joined up in January 1969 and became a member of the Armoured Corp after completing basic training at Puckapunyal. Moved to the 3rd Cavalry Regiment and then spent 11 months in South Vietnam from January to December 1970. Had met Pam in Yeppoon October 69 whilst on leave from exercise at Shoalwater Bay. We were married in January 71 at St Pauls cathedral, Rockhampton and spent five years in Adelaide until returning to Rockhampton in March 75. Simon and Samantha were both born in Adelaide and Sally arrived after our return to Rocky. Spent almost 27 great years working in aviation until a forced change and a move to CSIRO. We now have four wonderful grandchildren and are in the planning stage of building a new home on our 1 acre block at Paramount park just north of Rockhampton.
Great trip with wonderful tour staff. Would recommend to anyone visiting Singapore.
