Mariangela MGli argomenti che mi interessano maggiormente sono, in ordine sparso: Protostoria e storia antica, precisamente i Celti - Religioni antiche, in particolare druidismo - Fantascienza, sono un'appassionata di Star Trek, Star Wars, Asimov, Heinlein... - Fantasy, soprattutto di scrittori come la Zimmer Bradley, oppure Eddings, o Jordan, o la coppia Weis-Hickman - Danze, dal liscio al latino americano, dalle danze scozzesi ed irlandesi, alla danza del ventre - Viaggi, sono stata in tutti e cinque i continenti - Fotografia, ho migliaia di foto, fatte prima con una reflex ed ora con una digitale - ... e tante altre cose - The major topics I’m interested in are, in casual order: Proto-history and ancient history, precisely the Celts – Ancient religions, in particular druidism – Science Fiction, I’m a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Asimov, Heinlein… - Fantasy, mostly Zimmer Bradley, or Eddings, or Jordan, or the couple Weis-Hickman – Dances, ranging from tango and waltz to salsa and meringue, from Scottish country dance and Irish ceili and set dance to belly dance – Travels, I have been in all the five continents – Photography, I have thousands of pictures, taken at the beginning with a reflex camera and now with a digital one - … and many other things.

Really beautiful landscapes, among which some not much known but spectacular. Awesome was the Byodo-In Temple. Our tour guide Janelle provided much interesting infos about Hawaii and its history, as well as about all the things we visited. Loved it!

You cannot go to Hawaii and not have a luau, especially this one! They make you feel part of a family (a "cousin") and you can enjoy great entertaining activities such as canoeing, body painting, floral shower, dances (yes YOU can dance Polynesian dance, they teach you!), songs and music, and of course eat good food and drink delicious drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Simply a MUST DO!

Wonderful location, both on the surface (beach and landscape) and under it (corals and sealife). Much wind! Umbrellas could not stand it if not anchored, so beware. Too bad the returning time at 3.00 pm, I would have stayed there at leat until 5.00 pm...

Great landscapes and wonderful vegetation, but... no rainbows! Of course you need rain for that, and I catched a sunny day; but it was worth, because I got to see plants such as cocoa and coffee and pineapple that I had never seen, not to speak about the awesome flowers like the legendary ohia lehua or the stunning bat-flower. Many mosquitos, so use much insect repellant!
