We had a great day, Peter or as his friends call him Pete was wonderful. We were there for only 2 days but was able to see so much on the " Auckland Great Day Out" tour. I really would recommend if you only have 1 day to spend in Auckland do this tour. It is amazing how much stuff you can cram into 8 hours It also worked out great for my two daughters 15 and 10 the zoo, aqauarium, the tower, and a quick shopping stop. Plus some different gardens. New Zealand is as beautiful as I had heard it was and I only saw a small part of it. Jerry Greeneville TN USA

If you want to see a lot of things without being tied to a tour group this is the way to go. But I strongly suggest getting the pass with travel included. We did and it made it so much easier getting around we just swiped out card and got on. we visited about 20 things on the list. in 3 days plus we fit the zoo in there on one of those days. Make sure you check with opening and closing times there were a couple that we got to before the opened at 10:00am and some closed at 4:30pm But if you like some adventure and doing things on your own this is a good way to do it. My daughters and better half loved it I thought it was ok. You do a lot with the stop at the Farm and the Koala Center. and if you have children then it is well worth it. Even though it would not have made a difference in us going I do wish I would have known you could not take ANY PICTURES of the Penguins at ALL. I understand why you can't but feel this should be in the info pack. and if they explained why most people would understand. (the flash makes it were the Penguins can't find their homes) Jerry Greeneville, TN USA

This was out first day Down under so we were still playing catch up. but had a very good time. It was nice just to sit back and let someone drive us around and see the sights. The drive up to the mountains and the stop for scones and tea were great. The girls loved the birds. Jerry Greeneville TN USA
