A very good tour overall. Bruges is a great place to see and with lots of things to do. Canal ride was excellent. Wish we had more than just 4.5 hours to spend in Bruges though given the 8 hours of bus travel. Bus is very comfortable. The 7:15 am departure time from Paris is appropriate but we could have come back to Paris at 9:30 pm instead of 8:30 pm. My only real complaint was the difference in quality of the tour guides. The Spanish and Japanese tour guides appeared excellent; they provided lots of facts and explanations to their clients. The English tour guide however did not have a sufficient command of the language and if the sheer length of her turn to speak was any indicator of content and motivation, was about 50% of the other two.

This is the best way to see the Louvre for the first time. Fast paced and efficient but with plenty of detail and explanation at the same time, it was a wonderful experience. We were allowed to spend as much time as we needed at each of the major attractions including the Mona Lisa. Strongly recommended.

Manuel our tour guide was fantastic!!! He went out of his way to show us all the little details of rural France along the way and out of the way. He was extremely knowledgeable but brutally honest about the strong and not-so-strong features of each place we visited. Our specially requested vegetarian lunch was well beyond expectations. Giverny, especially the Japanese garden is a little place of heaven on earth not to be missed.

Moulin Rouge is Moulin Rouge. It has been around for a long time and it is what it is, so my recommendation does not mean much although we really did enjoy it. As for the Night Illuminations tour, our pick up was at 9:40 pm so it was a big rush to get to Moulin Rouge by 11 pm. Sure we saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle at 10pm and saw the glowing Notre Dame afterwards, but there was nothing really on the tour that we couldn't have done on our own time. I would suggest the Moulin Rouge visit alone if that is your interest.
