The Florence Accademia museum is somewhat small and the main item is the David by Michaelangelo, along with some of his unfinished works. The tour guide was patient and very knowledgeable. However due to the large crowds present that day, I felt like we were rushed a bit.
Uffizi Gallery is much larger. There is so much history here and we learned interesting facts about the Medicci family while doing the tour. The guide was excellent but again, i felt we were rushed since the museum closed at 6:30 p.m and I think more time should be devoted here so the tours should start before 4:00 p.m. Overall The tours were worth it and the guides definitely bring life and history to the art. The main advantage is not having to wait in a long line and again, having the expertise of the guides, helped make it lots more interesting.
Our tour guide made this experience so interesting and fun! I forgot his name (sorry) but He made the stories of ancient Rome and its structures come alive with history, details, and imagery and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The tour was pretty enjoyable and informative. We had good company and our tour guides were lots of fun and knowledgeable. I mostly enjoyed the stop at Sedona and the light walk along the Time Trail on the Grand Canyon. The only part I didn't like as much was being one of the first to get picked up and the last to get dropped off. It makes sense logistically for the company but it left me drained and tired and made the day longer than necessary. I still recommend it though.
