We were picked up at our hotel on time and delivered to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight back to the United States. Our driver was friendly and helpful - a pleasure to travel with.

This tour was one of our highlights!! A lovely afternoon walk - not at all strenuous - stopping for bits of Paris history, as well as getting to sample delightful delicacies from local shops. It's been a week since our tour and I can still taste the cup of wonderfully smooth hot chocolate which ended our tour. My advice - jot a few notes as you go along, because before you know it - it all begins to run around in your head!! And if it tastes good, be ready to purchase it right then!

Our guide, Sophie, was so knowledgeable of history and art, she was nothing short of amazing. She was able to switch back and forth from French to English to accomodate both languages in our group. The information she shared made me hunger for more - and she recommended a couple of books for me. Our lunch was wonderful, served in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our only complaint - the rain! (Don't forget to pack a collapsible umbrella.)

This was probably the best part of our trip to Paris. Our guide, Jean Luc, taught us so much as we traveled from Paris to Auvers sur Oise and then on to Giverny. All that he shared with us gave us a much deeper understanding of the area and the impressionist painters as we made our trips to various art museums the next few days. As we met other tourists during our stay, our tour always sounded like the best one, others sounding a bit envious of our experience!

We took this tour our first full day in Paris. It gave us a quick trip around the area to get us oriented and point out things we might not know about and otherwise miss. There was lots of traffic which seemed to keep us slowed down. However, were glad to be sitting and traveling as we adjusted to a different time zone.

Overall, this was great! Our driver (well, at least the one who tried to be our driver) worked so hard to get us carried into Paris. Even the driver we ultimately had was very friendly. When you get to the place they will tell you to meet your driver/van, be sure to have your paperwork available and show your name to the drivers. Also have all the people in your group there; don't have someone back grabbing a quick cup of coffee!
